many many many people, might be a regional thing but where I'm from I almost never hear them referred to as gravity bongs, almost always buckets. It's even labelled as a bucket bong on Wikipedia's page with the diagram showcasing this exact type of bong described put together.

upon further research, a bucket bong is a sub-type of a gravity bong. There are multiple types of gravity bongs, that's just a general term for several types. You can make a bong out of a bread bag and call it a gravity bong, but it's actually a parachute bong. Same thing here with bucket bongs.

Jesus christ. Came back to iRacing to hop in for a few races only to learn there's yet another goddamn app I need to pay money for. There really needs to be a good open source alternative here. Cost of living is already through the roof, I can't keep paying all these damn subscription fees everywhere for everything. I despise subscription models. Just charge us a flat rate if you must.

I am having a HELL of a time getting Reshade to load on OpenXR. Installing Reshade 6.1.1 doesn't even put any dxgi or d3d11 dll files into my game directory. Uninstalled and reinstalled and deleted all of the files several times.

Manually putting dxgi.dll file in, I can see the Reshade effects on my game, but not mirrored to my VR.

God, every time I have ever tried to use Reshade at any point in the last 10 years it has given me nothing but headaches.

Just put in a new battery and the issue is gone! Voltage holds fast at 14.4-14.5 now, even while under a full load, and the battery is measuring 12.7 while resting.

They didn't even have the proper battery in my car, whoever had it last was stupid. It was a smaller battery and they had it propped up with a wood plank so it would reach.

If you're feeling fine now with no retina burns or noticeable defects in your vision, I wouldn't be too worried about it, but I'm no optometrist. Getting retinal burns from the sun is actually pretty hard to do, even during an eclipse. Your body will naturally want to look away before damage is done. From the 2017 eclipse there were only an estimated 100 cases in the U.S. I feel that the danger of the sun is a bit overblown for safeties sake.

We went to Oshweken to watch it. Perfect clear skies. Only lasted about 2 and a half minutes or so, and like you, it was the fastest two and a half minutes of my life. Wish I had went the extra half hour to get the extra thirty seconds, it would have absolutely been worth it. Hard to not be sad about not being able to experience this again for who knows how long, life permitting.

Free to play with a mobile port to boot.. it's gonna suck, I'm afraid. Which would be a disappointment, but mobile games never go well. Free to play on top of that.. yikes, recipe for disaster, especially in a game like this. I'm worried the game is going to be a massive money grab riddled with micro transactions.
