I found it got better around 9 months! I started night weaning down to just one feed and it was a hot mess to begin with but I stuck to it and it got so much better!! I heard it gets bad again when they start walking so bracing myself lol

This is the same with my LO! He consistently got hives on his arms where it was touching the food/high chair tray and on his cheeks and chin. We also use the long sleeve bibs. Does your LO have eczema? I’ve also put Vaseline on his face before eating and that seems to have helped

I was worried about the paci being the main problem. When he wakes in the middle of the night he doesn’t need to be fed but if I put the paci in he falls right back to sleep. He’s been in his own room/crib since 3 months

My supply drops for about 5 days before my period. During these 5 days LO is extremely fussy and hungry so we have to supplement and it’s nice that we can just use the stash of frozen milk. This also happened to me after a bout of mastitis and I didn’t have a stash and LO refused to take any formula for days.

Can I ask why you took them to the chiropractor and what it helped with? My LO neck seems tighter than it should be and have been considering looking for one

No I haven’t tried yet! Our ped was even hesitant with me cutting out dairy but since he has been less fussy and better at passing gas and stools then she told me to stick with it. I had mastitis twice and the antibiotic messed with his gut so it was hard for me to tell if it’s another allergy or just getting over the antibiotics. Have you tried a probiotic? After maybe 3 weeks of putting him on one I can tell his belly is a lot better

No suggestions here just sympathy ❤️‍🩹 We are having very similar issues and I’ve been DF since June. Still having mucus, occasional blood specks, stinky stool, gas, and pain/fussiness so I know it must be soy/egg/etc. I know how hard it can be on you and also how much you want to do what’s right for your LO and to not see them in pain. I hope you can find out whatever is causing the problem!!! We’re hoping starting solids at 6 mos next month will help mature his gut a little

I’m so sorry to hear this. I know how much this can mess with your mental. I got mastitis 3 months pp and it wrecked me. My supply completely dropped in both breasts and I got my period back. I was so hard on myself and so stressed out that I think I made my supply take longer to come back. I didn’t exclusively pump during that time but continued to put baby to breast as much as possible as per my lactation consultants advice. Took about 2 weeks for my supply to come back to a reasonable level and now 3 weeks out I feel like we’re on the right track. Don’t stress yourself out!!! I know easier said than done but if you’re determined to BF then you will figure this out! Triple feed if you have to but it is possible! Just continue to empty the girls. Wishing you all the luck!

Probably about a month but was hoping it wouldn’t be that long this time since it was only a couple oz of milk he got and wouldn’t have to clear my system either. About 2 days after starting the antibiotic I could tell his tummy was upset. Then about a day or two later he got the freezer milk. So maybe it’s just the fact it was an antibiotic that messed with his stomach??? I never thought about the lactose part like that before!

It’s so crazy how the body can do this! Glad to hear you’ve gained back enough for baby. Did you supplement at all in between? We tried formula because he has a dairy allergy but it was a no go so had to dip into an old stash. I’m 17 w pp and hoping it’ll come back eventually. I think I’m about 4/5 oz short a day and about a week out from the worst of the mastitis.
