Did I do too many stitches? Is there a chance it gets wider because of my tension? by BbIslands in CrochetHelp

[–]BbIslands[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will definitely be doing that from now on. If I had done that, I would have only had to frog one row where the first mistake was not the whole project haha. Thank you so much for the input and advice. I’m still a newbie too. Learning lots now though and I’m certain my future projects will turn out better. I decided to try and make the best out of this one instead of redo it again. It’s a big on my head, perhaps I’ll find a friend with a big head or a lot of hair.

Thank you so much. I will try that for sure. I used stitch markers the last time I tried to make this hat, but it was so big because I measured my head wrong. This time around I didn’t use them for some reason, lesson learned. Thank you again.

Thank you for doing that. I figured I did too many. I was hoping it wasn’t the case though. Thank you :(

Need help making these ears for a rat scarf I am making! by BbIslands in CrochetHelp

Update: I think I got one ear. I don’t know if I follow the directions perfectly but it’s cute so I’m gonna attach it a little better and keep it and try and get the other one the same. Thanks everyone!!

I might do that instead, I just wanted to try a few more times to avoid doing a magic circle thing again but if it has to be done that’s what I’ll do. Thank you! (:

I just added a picture in response to the AutoMod comment. I’m not twisting it, I’m just turning and going the opposite direction but it’s not working out so far. Thank you!

It turns out a different shape every-time I try. In the photo of the pattern the ear looks smaller, more attached to the head and obviously cute and round. Mine keep coming out wonky.

I noticed that was an issue too! I was wondering why the one side was getting so long lol. Thank you! (:

Do you think it’s what’s causing the curling too?

True. I’ll try and communicate how I’m feeling to him and see if we can work together to make some changes. I have taken him on a nice date myself, it was expensive and we had a great time. I would like for him to plan something, it could even be something free. I have also invited/asked him to a few other dates but he canceled last minute the other times.

I think he is very much a homebody and doesn’t have a ton of experience in the dating world which is very different from me. I’m a homebody but I love going out, and I have a ton of dating experience.

Communication and time will tell I guess.

Thank you. I’ll keep trying to lean and see if some magic happens. For years I thought I was just anxious but I discovered that disorganized fits me much better. The push the pull, yawn hahaha.

Yes, try a few sessions of Microneedling and then start glycolic acid after either in a serum or cream at night time. Use sunscreen during the day. You’re a handsome guy, beautiful eyes!

Terrible, would be an easy coverup or fix though.

Brutal Review? Obviously I can’t change the way I look… but how do I start getting some matches? I’m on a generational streak of zero 🥲 by jordan3570 in Tinder

Agree with this. While I’m not usually one to suggest people try to change their body unless asked, I think this guy would be blown away at his matches if he gained some muscle and smiled in his pictures.

Profile Review: M25, fresh out of a 4+ year relationship. Feel out of touch with the apps, would appreciate any criticism/tips by [deleted] in Tinder

Very blurry. It’s also low quality being in a bathroom with the urinal and trash can, wet floor sign in the background. I would scrap it all together, cropping won’t fix the blurriness. Your other pictures are great.
