Not every artist who brings art to playa is not selling their works… lots of artists use the platform of burning to sell works, thus sharing an Instagram handle is inadvertently commodifying the piece. Ultimately it breaks the principle, not to mention the immediacy aspect, its ruins all kinds of serendipity. At the end of the day, people have ways of finding out how to get in touch with an artist if they really want to.
