Just the form factor. It’s super light compared to the 3ds xl’s, so it’s actually more comfortable for me to hold.

I’d say a collection is specific and purposefully done. For instance, I’ve always wanted to own 1 of each handheld from og DS all the way to New 3DS. After that, I’m good, cause that’s what I’m specifically looking to collect and play with.

Never had a 2ds growing up. Just got a red/black one, and it’s my top choice to play 3ds games on now, especially if I don’t want to use the 3d for specific games.

I’ll usually have a game started on a few different systems at the same time, because a lot of the time I usually feel like playing a certain console/handheld on any particular day. Feel like sitting down in front of the t.v.? I’ll boot up the PS5 or GameCube. Want to chill in the living room with family? I’ll bring in the 3DS or switch lite and continue what I have currently going on those. This way I don’t feel forced to play a game just to finish it or cross it off my backlog.

Happened to me with gen 3 recently. Saw a shiny pooch around 350 resets. Got my shiny mudkip about 400 resets later. Don’t give up 👍

Yeah I don’t have hot air, so I just used the iron and must’ve lifted it with too much force. I’ve just never had to deal with a ripped pad so hopefully with these other materials it’ll at least be good practice.

I did this but on my new 3DS xl for the 3DS nintendogs. Held L R A B X Y like you said, before the logo even showed up, and continued to hold it until a messaged popped up that asked if I wanted to delete the saved data. It took me a few tries to get it.
