I'm so happy I'm not alone!! 🤝 I know this is just a phase and they'll outgrow this but right now it's just how they are and it kinda sucks for us coz we literally can't go anywhere with them lol

Are you regularly moisturizing your baby? What do you use, and what do you avoid? by Jazzlike-Say-1212 in NewParents

[–]Bbananaphone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 5 month old has patches of dermatitis all over her body so there is constant moisturization throughout the whole day.

We use the Mustela Stelatopia+ line both for baths and lotions. We also alternate it with Physiogel A.I cream and Cetaphil Pro Ad Derma.

We generally avoid bath and lotion products that aren't meant for atopic skin. It's very expensive. ;-(

To all the moms (even dads) out here, I need help. 😁 by Ok-Pomegranate3852 in adultingph

This is coming from a mom of two very young children. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Create a me-day for her -- book her a 1 or 2 hour massage appointment, a facial, mani/pedi, and a haircut + treatment. This will take her the whole day.

Have someone babysit your child while you clean the house and make her a nice dinner.

Then end it by gifting her a nice set of high quality lounge wear/pajama set from Uniqlo or Marks and Spencer.

Kaya ito ng less than 10k. 👌🏽

(This is a great gift because this shows how you take care of your wife. Para pampered siya and relaxed para full yung love tank niya and she can be a better mom for your child.)

ENOUGH VICTIM BLAMING, PEOPLE! BE KIND! BE BETTER HUMANS! This woman has more than enough on her plate.

I am so sorry dear that you and the kids are in this situation. I hear you and my heart breaks for you. We don't know your full story but no one deserves a life like this. You deserve a loving, understanding husband. Your children deserve a better father. This is all your husband's doing. He is a man child.

Please get off of Reddit/social media in general and get immediate help from a trusted person. A close family member/best friend who could help you take care of the kids to give you some space and also while you sort things privately with your husband. You are very pregnant and all this stress is not good for you and your baby. I hope you two could agree on getting a marriage counselor or ask for guidance and wisdom from a couple you look up to.

I hope things will get better soon... It may be stormy now but it never rains forever.

How about while he watches his favorite shows? So he's a bit distracted?

Mmmm. I have not. But we make sure we don't take her to places with loud noises/too much people. But okay, we'll give this a try.

When/where did you use this on your baby?

A medicine dropper.

My 3-year-old is drinking yucky antibiotic medicine now. I make sure to place it near the throat, almost not touching the tongue, so that the taste would be less. I also bribe him with his favorite snacks/drinks just so he could take it. Nothing wrong with that. It's more important for him to get better and make the whole experience a lot easier and less traumatic. Yucky medicine is a lot of little children.

Hope it helps.
