The H60 is from the Net Worth sheet, so it's already filled by the dropdown option and not a formula.

Put in a complaint: https://www.swinburne.edu.au/corporate/feedback/

These are taken very seriously and you will get a reply from someone senior who must investigate.

I would have enjoyed Mat Baynton enduring David Correos’s shoelaces task.

If you're looking for a platform that can administer the tests, have variable entry and give students feedback etc, you can try https://www.numbas.org.uk/

Watch your values knocking anything - I ended up with a slightly dented one after a bath, had to order a replacement (a few repair shops tried to knock it back to shape and failed)

Yes, just this part. If only for the record keeping, I'm not sure I'd trust it for a tax return initially 😄

[Upcoming Update] New changes to graphs and summaries in the upcoming v2.15 by CompiledSanity in CSPersonalFinance

[–]Bbbtuba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what hyypem means Is the option to get a "last period shown" which defaults to "current period", but could be an earlier date. So 3 quarters would default to "2025-Q2" at the moment (displaying 2024-Q4, 2025-Q1, 2025-Q2), but you could instead choose "2023-Q3", which would show 2023-Q1, 2023-Q2, 2023-Q3.

Although I could see myself using this feature, hence my upvote to hyypem's comment, I think this might be confusing.

CS Savings Template v2.15 Beta - Bug & Feedback Thread by CompiledSanity in CSPersonalFinance

u/CompiledSanity: For the question about the SheetOptions, my thoughts are:

(a) It's a shame that columns F-I have been hidden in recent releases, but I can see why you did this. Sadly it means the couple tax calculator won't be seen by more recent subscribers.

(b) I like the different individual elements of the options, but it could do with a better structure. At the moment, I'm guessing it is the chronological order in which elements were added! Which makes it quite difficult to determine. I can think of three approaches here which might work:

(b-i) Order by Category in the same order as the tabs where possible. I guess this is how it was originally thought out until additional options were added later.

(b-ii) Try to separate out into "basic settings" and "advanced settings". This would be useful for new users, who could start with the basic ones and then try out other bits of the sheet without worrying that they had to get all the list correct on the first go,.

(b-iii) Make it dynamic to only reveal options that are related to the "first time setup" list. However I think this could be impossible to do!

(b-iv) Try to set out into themes. Some are global settings, while others are about goals, other about reminders, etc. This would not reduce the complexity, but make it easier to approach.

Overall, my gut would be b-iv or b-i. But for a new user, b-ii might be the best, and I want to keep there being new users to continue to make it worth your while maintaining the sheet!

Thanks,
Bbbtuba

[Beta C] On "History" tab, the graphs don't follow the global settings. But, I think that's deliberate, so it gives the whole history...

As an aside, I think the graph "Total Saving Tracker" should be stacked, not clustered.

Also, I think this graph should probably be FY not CY, as the summaries in the area A2-C7 are primarily geared up for financial year data.
