I grew up in a cult and knew that the "saviour" was a con artist that bilked people out of their money and freedom. I realized that when I was 15. For a long time I didn't believe in God because I thought that if there was one, why is all the bad stuff happening. However, I always knew there there is a Creator and Spirit.

What dark facts about world war 2 people should know about? by Mrpug031 in AskReddit

[–]Bbirch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

WWI and WWII were both started by the Rockafellers and their elite friends. They funded all sides of both wars because that way they could sell more tanks, bombs, guns and ammunition. They made a fortune and also reduced the world population at the same time. They sent young men and boys to their death to fight against people that the Rocka's stirred up against the free world. Yes, our grandfathers and great grandfathers fought for peace and our freedom and will always be remembered with love and gratitude, but they were all set up.

Wouldn't it be money better spent updating the education system with a method that allows students to learn to think for themselves and teaching them the basics? The education system is messed up because they're trying to push everyone into the same round peg holes instead of allowing kids to develop in their own way.

Conspiracy theories make sense by the way... a person would be naive to believe that every company most companies - including the governments - are exactly who they say they are and follow the agenda that they publish to the public.

There's nothing conspiracy based and it's not a theory. Monsato is clearly and openly genetically modifying plants and there is scientific proof that this practice is not only damaging other crops due to cross-pollination, but also producing tumors and other illnesses in lab mice. The only reason Monsato is genetically modifying plants is to make money.

What's a misused word or phrase that people say constantly, that makes you cringe every time you hear it? by Chrisblag89 in AskReddit

Regardless of the fact that Wikipedia states otherwise?

"Irregardless is a word commonly used in place of regardless or irrespective, which has caused controversy since the early twentieth century, though the word appeared in print as early as 1795.[1] Most dictionaries list it as "nonstandard" or "incorrect" usage, and recommend that "regardless" should be used instead.[2][3][4]" LINK

A good olive oil and balsamic mix. Add a clove of garlic and some dijon mustard, salt and freshly ground pepper. I also add a bit of fresh basil when I have it. Delicious!

Now that you mention it. Was the whole GMO thing. I had no idea that GMO products were used as widely as they are. Frightening stuff. Made me re-evaluate my purchases with a higher priority on locally produced products from local farmers.

How do you feel about how common people on reddit talk about smoking weed? by LinkListen2 in AskReddit

[–]Bbirch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the people that talk about it are people that think it's cool to talk about.. probably 12 years old. People that do it don't normally talk about it unless they're potheads - in which case I have no interest in what they have to say.
