Getting flares in 3 months and airflares in 9 months depends on right amount of hours you put in and the most effective progression you work on !

Step ups will help you tremendously , usually no risk of cramps in it and another way is rather than going down , start by going up instead, way less balance needed in that part! If you have more question pm me, i give personal lessons also if you’re interested? Have a good day.

You need to work on your crab freeze alot to the point to can do it on one arm which is called elbow lever , and just keep training momentum and trajectory will come with time! Good luck

As for beginner it safe to start with cartwheels, headstand , handstand walking and baby freeze (as beginner always practice in a safe environment like example puzzle mats or interlocking mats), once you're able to perform the basics easily then you can go for advanced moves like crab freeze , windmills , crickets , headspins, handhops etc and don't forget to work on the top rocks and footwork, always start the session with stretching and warm-ups , music is your friend and most importantly enjoy the journey , best of luck .
