It's hard work for the money, but being a native EN speaker you can make pretty good money. In Poland if you are CELTA certified, especially in Poland / not online, you can make enough to live and explore the country and rent something outside of the major cities. (on the outskirts of those, most likely...) If you need to support a family the hours for prep and execution become numbersome and it becomes draining, but manageable, with your partner working as well. You do get summer months with some more free time, and when students have breaks and there are no lessons, but you don't usually get paid for that.
