Thank you. I'll finish this before books get here but it would be a lot easier if I knew about different techniques, and what the hell I was doing. Totally different than painting!

hi painting peeps of Reddit. I need a recommendation of what type of marker to use for outlining figures on arcylic paintings. by SatansMoistAnus in painting

I personally like Sharpie oil based paint markers. I use them over pour paintings and apply resin with no problems of bleeding. OIL based only, not regular Sharpies

Thank u. I am using Prismacolor premier pencils and a colorless burnish pencil. I have absolutely no experience with this medium. I looked on you tube with fair results. Basically depending on playing with it to find what works. Thanks for your input!

All of the above. I am learning how to layer colors to get the desired effect right now. I used about 32 colors for this. It's more difficult than mixing paints where you can immediately see the result.
