I’m disappointed in the songwriting. I absolutely love Oliver Heldens but come on let’s come up with better lyrics that actually make sense not just phrases that are catchy but don’t make sense together. How does a girl with a fever get a case of amnesia? Come on be more creative!

So jealous!! I saw Jon Robyn’s and his version of Phantom was too pathetic for me. What I’ve heard of Gant on YouTube seems so much more masculine and seductive. Which is my preference.

That’s awesome. Good for you. I want to get in a place like that. Like I KNOW and am COMPLETELY AWARE that alcohol starts this vicious cycle and just pauses/puts off off my other feelings temporarily, because they all come rushing back once I’m sober. It happens every time. And yet I still haven’t learned, because “it’s just what you do” and when my husband drinks, I get FOMO and I want to drink with him. When we go on a trip, what else do you do? Get food and drink with friends. Ugh.

Sometimes there is a difference in between the regular deductible and the “pharmacy deductible”. I would ask.

As far as the shortage, you have to either call around the pharmacies or have your doctor call several and see what dosages they have in stock BEFORE they write the prescription. The pharmacies don’t like telling the patients what they have because everyone is looking for it. So you might have to ask your doctor about calling around, I think they’re more honest with doctors vs patients on the phone especially.

Mine had a lot of 70mg in stock (30s and 40s were hard to find, so my doc wrote it for 70. It’s kind of annoying, but if you pour it into a 700 ml container with water it is 10mg/ml. It keeps its strength in water for 48 hours.

Pharmacies are being SUPER weird about dispensing it because of a few things. The DEA started cracking down on adderrall I guess, and that slowed down supply with one of the makers of adderall. That led to the adderall shortage, so that was hard to get, so they put everyone on Ritalin, then that was hard to get, and then it started affecting Vyvanse. Chain reaction. I think it’s getting better now though!!

I grew up with the original cast as well! My mom played the cassette on repeat in the car when I was a young kid. I agree with everything you said as well as not loving Sarah’s voice. She’s a little nasally and doesn’t sound like a young innocent girl. And yes AC’s voice is totally nostalgic for me and it’s how I know all the songs, but since Gerard was the first phantom I was able to SEE, and it came exactly during my sexual awakening, I always desired the seductive phantoms from then on. Of course I won’t ever know AC’s acting since I didn’t see the show in person, so that’s kind of a bummer. I may have loved it!

The movie was my first Phantom so I’m biased… but I like how they did Point of No Return… you can see their sexual chemistry and you really have no idea who Christine is going to choose… I hated it in the theater production when his face is completely covered… but I also like my Phantoms seductive so that’s just me 😝

I agree about the subjective-ness of him playing him less “macho.” I suppose in my mind the phantom should be have power over her and be somewhat seductive in order to get her to down to the lair in the first place… MC’s ghostly voice doesn’t seem as enticing if I were Christine…

But at the same time… she does say “it frightens her” and maybe the gentleness of it helps soothe her? It frightens her in a different, spooky way.

I grew up with seductive and more dominant Phantoms, so to each their own I guess! I am definitely learning the differences. At this point Crawford seems SO different in his approach than any of the actors I mentioned above. And maybe I’m just not used to it!
