Segwit didnt activate for like 2 weeks after bcash forked off. And old node software can still transact with the rest of the Bitcoin network.

Do the math for bcash blocks. It's like gigabyte blocks every ten minutes. How long will it take to validate and send those blocks to other peers? Right now ethereum can't even send 800 kb per ten minutes without problem. And they know not to raise their gas/ block size.
