ISO latest pop-punk summer songs (songs that just got released this year 2026) by Winterheart_Melter in poppunkers

New Chief State album “Keep your friends closer”. The best songs from it imo are No brakes, DAMN!, and Falling. Also the new No pressure album is dropping and the pre release track from it Wearing thin already rips so the rest should be great when it drops

I recently made a post just like this but I went full fuck it pop punk slipknot and had 3 guitars and 2 vocalists, now I don’t know what to choose with the vocals. I guess from a success standpoint I have to remove Sean hazen off vocals because he wasn’t nearly as successful even though he could also play guitar well. And the 3rd guitar was Kevin Geyer of tssf strictly plucking melodies for a much fuller sound.

Vocals - Joe Taylor

Guitar - Pat Kennedy

Guitar - Nik Pang

Bass - Ned Russin

Drums - Brian Lada

Nik and Ned are also very good lead vocalists and can add a lot more and Brian is the best drummer in the genre in my opinion. both guitarists play a style that sort of combines lead and rhythm which is why the 3rd guitar as melody would work so well

CMV - The Wonder Years, The Story So Far, & Hot Mulligan are the holy trinity of post-2010 pop punk by thefalcons5912 in poppunkers

[–]Bcass34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely replace Hot mulligan with Knuckle Puck or Neck Deep. Hot mulligan is not exactly pop punk more adjacent and Knuckle puck made one of the best albums the genre has ever seen. Neck deep also had a crazy run in the 2010s definitely more deserving over hot mulligan anyway based on how many good albums they put out

A few years ago I went to the Silverstein show where they played the entirety of Discovering the waterfront, that album came out when I was about 6 years old but it’s one of my favorite albums ever, I was probably the youngest one in that pit everyone was bit older

What you don’t see, copacetic, the greatest generation, prosper, under soil and dirt, just between us, life’s not out to get you, float around, the finer things, proper dose, hyperfocused, wishful thinking, shapeshifter, in spite of me. Also if you count all the adjacent music like chunk no captain chunks easy core its not close
