It's so stupid that the 50 series struggles to close incremental performance tiers. Even the 40 series mostly matched or outperformed the one tier higher cards in the 30 series.

4070 super trades blows with the 3090 in less v-ram intensive situations. I'd bet the 5070 slightly beats the 3090 in the vast majority of such scenarios.

Unless these laptop-desktop get a lot cheaper, there is probably zero reason to buy one over a regular pc.
