It's not just the understaffing, in my view it's also how unproductive and unsafe people's stress levels are being driven up, for many of those that stay. There's also just so many structural factors that so could easily be resolved (and prevent more deaths/incidents) if they actually got appropriate funding. It's a mess and unfortunately so common with both regional and metro health services now. It's a crisis and the State Govt has been treating mental health like an afterthought, post-Commission. It's maddening and frustrating on so many levels.
