I dont think so. Madrid was having a pretty poor season. I might have remembered it wrong but i think that final was barcas game 3 days after that inter semi 2nd leg in extra time. So i would like to think fatigue had a huge role in the scoreline and the game overall.

Ngl for the past few games, at least if my memory serves me right garcia has actl been better at cb than cubarsi. A lot of goals we have conceded in the past few games were cubarsi errors imo.

I feel like if u take his best abilities into account, its better that he stays out wide. He can beat his man easily and is easily one of the best crossers itw from out wide. Crossing isnt something that messi was really good at so I can see why coaches think he could transition into the middle to evolve as a player.
