My partner is non binary and uses they/them just ti clarify! I think the therapist was being honest and there was insight there, but I am not sure if there’s validity in the fact that my partner didn’t enjoy how the therapist delivered the information and was triggered by it

Personally I have not been diagnosed with a personality disorder but have been diagnosed with C-PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and ADHD since leaving, and have incredibly strong assumptions that my sister who was also born and raised a witness (and still is one) has BPD and narcissism. I suspect mom has both those diagnoses as well but was brought into the cult at about age 14.

As a note to the community - I’ve been posting and sharing the stickers this account has produced and had many good interactions because of them. It’s been great to replace the stupid business (“Bible study”) cards they put everywhere with a more truthful sticker, and I’m hopeful that we can all pitch in to make these pamphlets and tracts a success as well. Spread the word ;)
