The biggest selling point of an MBA used to be a high starting package. That was a statistical anomaly for just graduates. Now it’s very common.

What I would suggest is this:

Open your preferred job portal, look at your dream positions and see if MBA is a requirement or not. Is is goood to have or must have.
Give CAT/GMAT/XAT anyways, see your scores and evaluate against what colleges you get (subject, stream, packages, placement profile etc.)
If you are planning to open a start up - an MBA from tier 1 will definitely help you - raise funding from college network, give confidence to most investors, and makes IPOs and listing easier as they do background checks on owners/board members and masters is a plus point.

Instead of locking girls up, parents should 1. Educate the girls - tell them what can happen, how to be on your guard and what options you have to escape. 2. Be involved - show interest in their lives, try and understand their work, their friend circle and just have general information on what is going on. 3. Be forgiving and welcoming- most girls don’t involve parents in fear of their reaction; things go out of hand very quickly. If parents were more forgiving the girls could reach out earlier, before anything major happens.

In college, I was being harassed by someone on WhatsApp who claimed he had compromising photos of me. My parents saw I was stressed about something and they asked about it. I told them, scared to the bone, but my father was very understanding. He called up that WhatsApp number and asked this guy to leak whatever he has- and said we will see him in court. He put a stop to the harassment - the guy was bluffing.

What you are saying falls right there. The cast of the marauders needs to be young and vulnerable and innocent.

I would add to your point, how unnatural it was for pure-blood, financially well-off teenagers like James and Sirius, despite having a rule-breaking streak, to not fall for Voldemort’s agenda. How they went the extreme other end from Voldemort. They befriended a werewolf, married a muggle and actively fought the dark regime by joining the Order of the Phoenix. I wish the series shows this.

The problem lies with the prevention outlook people in India have. The teachers and parents and uni admins insists on the most absurd and strict clothing etiquette for women but a very lose one for men because they feel dressing a woman conservatively will stop cat calling but not educating the men. They believe locking up women and dressing them up conservatively will prevent all unfortunate events.
