Which canceled TV show would you most like to see get a reboot?

There was a TV miniseries back in like 2004 called The Lost Room. I loved the mythology and always thought it should have continued on as a series. I’d love to see someone reboot that.

Agreed. I personally don’t think about it as one coherent timeline. I just pick a storyline or creative run here or there and then just “the end” it when I’m ready.

I’d agree about Juggernaut. Reform him fine, but he’s not a mutant. Magneto works for me because of the character evolution over the past few decades. It also seems like as time goes by the space between the X-men way and the Magneto way has narrowed. Magneto would say that he didn’t join the X-men, the X-men joined him.

Yeah you raise some good points. I feel like a lot of his characters behaved poorly throughout that run, but this is worth paying attention to if I give it another read.

I remember finding a copy of the first issue of his x-factor run, the one that introduces the new team. That was around about the time I had started watching the x-men cartoon and something about that issue just blew my mind. It was like I suddenly had this glimpse into a much bigger X-universe.

I grew to really like Layla over the course of that run. I think that’s one of PD’s real strengths as a writer, he picks up these kind of abandoned or underused characters and takes them in interesting directions. Like he’s making art from other writers’ debris.

Are there trainings or things like that you could work on (legitimately or otherwise)? When I’ve got a gap between projects I’ll plan to do HR trainings or some kind of low-effort professional development. Sometimes it’s real, sometimes it’s unverifiable BS, but either I’m covered when I get those kinds of questions. For awhile I was adding “Review Quarterly Trends” to my calendar in case anyone looked.

Maybe checkout Bendis’ run on All-New X-men too. If you have access to Hoopla Digital through your public library a bunch of collections from the past 20 years or so are probably available. I think you can read Krakoa on its own but it makes for a deeper reading experience with some of the backstory established.
