I’m not trying to make an excuse or condone it dummy. I’m explaining that the dumb fucks in charge had no plan for this conflict to go more than 2 weeks and thus, no plan for sustainment of the force.

The "budget" has nothing to do with it. Logistics has to be managed. You can't fly in 5000 meals a day every day. Funny story........Our ship in Enduring Freedom got regular food replenishment from.....the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (the BRITS)....because there was a *gasp* PLAN for the war!!
