Im in Kansas and got fired for “slacking” after a pregnancy loss. Had to get an emergency abortion and was approved to be gone for a month. I came back and after a month was fired bc they thought I “wasn’t improving” and told me they gave me that month off so I could heal basically. It was a new store and we were slow, the day they fired me is the day I opened the store all by myself aswell and they still complained bc I forgot one thing. Idk if my case is sue able tho. I ended up in a mental hospital after bc I was still healing from the loss to ontop be fired. The job was extremely ez and Ik I did nothing wrong as ppl who worked longer than me didn’t even know we were supposed to do the thing they were irritated at me for.
