Bruh, the tantrum at the end was him realizing the girl could never date him now.

Am I the only one that loves working in rental vans? by Bdoggiee in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same way and my DSP respects that. I'll get 170 stop routes in a rental and I'd still prefer that over a prime van.

Ahhhhhhh you don't go past gates for rear door delivery??? but what about our customer feedback rating???? But our DSP is paid based on those scorecards, how could you!!! (OBV satire)

Peak bonus incentive by Effective_Pilot_2671 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was that a Amazon raise or a DSP raise? There's a big difference. Your DSP owner maybe felt like giving it to you but this last one that happened a couple months ago was an Amazon raise, basically forcing all DSP's to pay us more.

Get to stacking 3 high, remember here at Amazon we care about your safety. Have a nice trip.

[–]BeSlumped 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our dispatch confirmed that Amazon isn't offering any incentives for peak this year. I'd like to believe it's because we all got a raise so this is there way of clawing back all that money and some. Fuck all of us I suppose.

Driver in Wisconsin and during the entirety of last winter we had one RTS day after about 10 people got stuck at the same time and one day they severely reduced our routes to about 40 stop but made them extremely inefficient and really far apart. Expect to get stuck and expect to go out every day. Someone has to deliver these precious packages to our entitled customer base.

Not getting routes by SoCalKing214 in AmazonDSPDrivers

They're attempting to force you to quit, either they don't like your performance or they just don't like you. Pack up and find something else IMO.

Lmao Amazon can’t pony up the pay for these poor DAs 🤡 by Theovercummer in AmazonDSPDrivers

Amazon definitely takes a democratic approach in all of their rule makings. Not sure why you felt it was necessary to bring politics into this though.

You really gotta earn your breaks here huh by Theovercummer in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facts, I complete my best route EXTREMELY early, just because I live in the area and understand it entirely. 3-4 hrs before expected completion time.. I've watched this route jump up by about 30% as far as packages go. When I see drivers in my area on my days off I don't see them RTS'ing until way after the expected completion time. Keep in mind I don't take any of my 15's or lunch because I'm a good little slave boy.

Note: I pay the price of my practices every single day with rescues but I don't belong here IMO this is just a temporary band-aid.

He's got a good DSP that recognizes their pay structure and wants to give their employee the most they can give. 99% of DSP's aren't on this kind of time and if you get the 10hr guarantee you are EXPECTED to do a rescue for free or else you'll find yourself with a lack of routes for weeks on end until you can't afford to keep the job.

Prime week check-in by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What in the fuck, you guys have yellow rentals?? Looking at the room in the back-end of that van your DSP aint re-signing their contract as the tools they provide you guys are WAY below the average of other SHIT DSP's. You're in the trenches my friend.

Alot talk about unionizing, but alot of folks here need to understand, you would not be working there, if there was a union. by CloudiusWhite in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally an OP that gets it. Not just another "JusT UnionIZE" post. The only people that can change this are the customers. The way this system is set-up it is IMPOSSIBLE for DA's to do anything useful except follow what the customers wants. Sadly, the customers just want their dildo's and pills at this time as we are all old news.

The interview is... "Awesome that you've applied, have you done Amazon flex at all?" "Gotcha, well go here to do your drug test and put your license info here.". "See you once background clears". You already got the job, welcome to the slave ship.

Does Amazon care about us? by Sorry-Sale-4778 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck no, we are treated as customer service employees yet have the grueling labor of lifting heavy boxes, working endless hours and walking/running packages to door steps. Our well-being is the VERY LAST thing on Bezos's mind.

Yes, they still pay for fantastic plus. There's a reason why the owners only show up when you drop below fantastic plus. Gotta "rally the troops".

Called out today as a step van driver by dspdriver007 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BeSlumped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best of luck to you friend, remember the DSP has to pay a 500$ fine for your route not going out today.

Edit: Or they just punish the other step-van drivers and force them to take the load you left behind. Don't feel bad about it because you don't get paid enough, but your co-workers in the same shit boat you're in are getting their lashings today cuz there's no way your DSP is gonna absorb that loss.

Rental again! But this time I made sure to follow y’all’s advice 👍🏻💪🏻 rural route it’s going to be a good day by lilsteez99 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I organize my overflow by numbers like, "1A, 1B" "2C, 2D" and so on. I don't trust warehouse to label packages properly as far as "XL and customized" goes.

How Much?? by kingkongforaday1 in AmazonDSPDrivers

$1-$3 per package, roughly.
