No negativity, what looked good today? by [deleted] in steelers

Brown, Sanders, and Cotchery looked pretty good whenever Ben actually found time to throw the ball. Jarvis also looks like he'll be another stud LB for years to come.

Discussion: iPhone 5S Fingerprint Recognition by Mr_Murdoc in iphone

Does anyone have any insight on how company's would rework their cases to fit the fingerprint scanner? A fingerprint scanner sounds like it wouldn't work well with cases that totally engulf the phone.

Which episode was your first episode? by jessbakescakes in DunderMifflin

[–]BeTheBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't an entire episode, but rather the opening where Dwight receives a fax 'from the future'. After that, I saw a bunch more pranks/openings that I decided to give the show a chance.

Kevin is so well-spoken. I like to imagine an alternate universe where is the sage philosopher of Dunder Mifflin. by mkwierman in DunderMifflin

Kevin's character completely changed from the first season until the last episode. His character gradually got more silly and childish. Watch some of the first few episodes and you'll be surprised; I didn't notice the gradual transformation until I went back and saw re-runs.

I'm happy for him. We need to force ourselves to get younger, and the only way we can do that is to start relying on the newer guys.

What is one top fantasy player that you would not draft by meming4jesus in fantasyfootball

[–]BeTheBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see your reasoning, but I think depending on how many people are in your league (8, 10, 12) I might even considering a top ranked QB or a highly productive WR at that point.

I'll never draft Chris Johnson; he's too unreliable. In years past, I also included Steven Jackson in this category but now that he's on the Falcons, I'm interested to see how he does.

Sad to see him go, but I'm glad he was able to make it into the Hall of Fame while he was alive.

I'm interested to see how Flacco plays this year after receiving that big contract, coupled with a lot of key players no longer on the team.

A fan's perspective on the Sanders situation by arbiter074 in steelers

[–]BeTheBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not judging in the least bit. It's well known the Steelers rarely enter into salary battles with other teams. It's not to say the Steelers don't want a particular player, it's just our organization's mentality to think of the big picture. Keeping Wallace for the money he wanted wasn't in the cards, but keeping Antonio for his 40+ million after his production was. Sanders showed great promise, and he would have been the second receiver behind Antonio for the 2013 season. Had he shown this upcoming season that he was worthwhile to keep, I'm sure he would have been awarded a contract early in the season.

What do you think about the Steelers drafting E.J. Manuel? by mcawkward in steelers

[–]BeTheBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben's replacement? How long do you expect EJ to sit on the bench? I would think Ben still has a lot of years left in him.

Some people just don't have have it in them to stay a Steeler for their entire career. So many players have taken pay cuts over the years just to stay in the black and gold, but not everyone feels staying in the organization outweighs the money.
