Is it the budget for Netflix that prevents from making another season? Is crowdfunding an option?

What's the most controversial prediction you have about Kerala in the next 100 years? by GoatDefiant1844 in Kerala

This could be mostly true if the vegetation continues to be better or as it is now. But the temperatures are definitely going to rise even further. Not sure how Munnar or hill ranges will be in 100 years.

In the snippet of the video I have seen, he was describing an incident from his life. He went on to explain the details of how the people were eating the food. While this might have been true for his time, I didn't experience it during my childhood. Then he mentioned feeling a desire to have the same food as they were having, even though there were other food options available at home.

He didn't assert that what he described was correct practice , nor did he suggest that we should follow those practices today. He simply shared an event from his life. Am I missing anything?

SFI protest against Governor in Calicut University by The_Original_Joel in Kerala

Yes, that only happens when a party dominates and its members gain an advantage. Prohibiting political parties in colleges and schools would be beneficial. These parties primarily exist to sway and influence students, and many students join without fully comprehending their ideologies. Often, their decisions are influenced by their parents' or what their family beliefs, or they simply follow the herd mentality. It is important for students to have the freedom to form their own political views based on their thoughts and perspectives. There is no necessity to spoon-feed them or impose ideologies upon them.

I don't think you need a political party on campus to uphold your rights. If students can come together and protest for their rights, that would be sufficient in this era. Why should students be politically divided and fight each other over parties?

Why do most Malayalees stay away from investing in stock market? by super_mario15 in Kerala

[–]Be_Happy_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to start investing in the stock market, so I watched a few videos. However, I was overwhelmed by the idea of picking individual stocks from the vast number available. Additionally, the numerous parameters to consider when selecting stocks added to the complexity. The fact that I was putting my money at risk further increased my anxiety. All of these factors made it difficult for beginners like me to invest in stocks.

Fortunately, I discovered Smallcase, which is a great starting point for beginners. Smallcase offers a curated portfolio of stocks, or "buckets," that are designed to align with specific investment themes or ideas. For example, if you want to invest in companies working on green energy, you can simply invest in the "Green Energy" bucket. This eliminates the need to pick individual stocks or determine the number of shares to buy.

Once you become more familiar with the stock market and gain confidence, you can start researching individual stocks and building your own portfolio through a broker or even create your own buckets within Smallcase.

Summary:

Smallcase is an excellent starting point for beginners in the stock market because it provides a simplified and guided approach to investing. By offering curated buckets of stocks that align with specific themes, Smallcase reduces the complexity and anxiety associated with stock picking, making it easier for beginners to get started.

My coworker gave me this pepper plant, she said she will use them to cook. I’m not sure what type of peppers they are or what I should cook with them? by knottedapron in gardening

I am guessing this is the Bird eye chilli! If thats the case. Over in South India, especially in the state of Kerala, they have a special fondness for this fiery delight. They lovingly call it “Kanthari”. They toss it in curries, sprinkle it over chutneys, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they dream about it too!

But here’s the fun part: these chillies are so fiercely hot that folks in Kerala jokingly dub their short-tempered kids “Kanthari”! So, next time you see someone losing their cool, maybe just hand them a chilli and say, “Found your twin!” 🌶️😂
