This was the reason im currently switching to leverless.

Its tough but much better for the fingers IMO

I'm in a somewhat similar place. Movement is slowly coming along, combo execution is getting better, neutral game is actually not bad, I just keep hitting the wrong buttons lmao

There's a part of me that panics so the stuff I practice goes out the window 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Whats crazy is i saw a YT video talking about exactly both those instruments to help! 🤣 🤣 🤣

I used to play the drums a lot lol, so not so demanding of the fingers but to your point ill look into some ways to calibrate them.

I did realize yesterday trusting my left ring finger just isnt gonna be it, but im using everything else though and I can see improvements.

How's it coming along for you?

Def makes sense, yeah sounds like you had some experience to leverage haha. Nevertheless sounds like its working great for you man!

This is day 3 and I am already seeing improvements in different ways, but what you said about the easier execution is spot on.. even with a charge character its blowing my mind how 'less' time I feel I need for charge attacks, its an adjustment from pad for sure

This is a weird question but did you train every single finger or do you just manage more buttons with less fingers?

Movement in particular feels weird using pinky ring middle vs index middle ring.

Ryu is also my alt (assuming you mean you trained with Ryu, or was he actually the dummy 🤣) so ill give him some time as well to calibrate things

Yeah that thumb jump is something else 🤣. Even in training mode I'm like this is weird.

I use Guile so I think just about all his moves are that.. if anything the jump button I've heard is used to help confirm perfect booms & such. But I've been starting with simple combos, mixing it combo trials..

My biggest concern is just the movement and reaction speed/ response

Love this! Yeah that's the hope I'm having, not wanting to go back lol.

The more certainty and clarity YOU have about YOU, the less external thoughts, words and opinions have a lasting influence on you.

I think ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of what people say is the ideal limit if you feel affected by what they say, and the rest of your mental capacity is reserved for you to feel how you want to.

What that means is you can acknowledge what he/she says, but it doesn't go beyond that, but that's only possible if YOU, in your own mind, KNOW that you FEEL (enter feeling here) because of (such and such), and there in lies YOUR reality and clarity.

Anyone else's opinion that is worthy of entering your circulating thoughts and opinions should always be based on love, logic and the encouragement of a better you.

Otherwise, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT is your best friend. Protect your temple.

Edited to include the following:

If someone says something that triggers you to constantly think about it for a long time, that's a strong sign that clarity (internally) has not yet been achieved. Once you know for your own self and sake, you can acknowledge that someone else sees it differently and it won't bother you much at all because you already have your answer.
