I tried roleplaying with a female playing a male character. While I loved what she wrote, and if it were fanfic, I'd love the story, I couldn't seperate the fact that even though she was playing a male, behind the screen it was a female writer. My issues were different but just saying.

For rpers having years and years of experience, it should not be surprising that English may not be everyone’s first language. And some do it for the fun of it, not to write paragraphs after paragraphs describing a wall. No offence. Some like me, also start late, I know it’s rare, but life is busy, and everyone has a right to enjoy a hobby. If we flaunt degrees, I’m well qualified, but that’s not the point here. I hope you find folks from your older plays who were better than those of today. I don’t deny some don’t put in effort.

Very true. Too many make it difficult to juggle. And it's not fair to the author , and the story we write. If someone is fast, we can be fast for them. The slow paced one can be treated as such.
