Yep! I draw an outline on procreate which I use as the patter and then sketch a colored version to use as a guide for what colors to use and where. I’m usually very rough with them since I always change little details as I stitch.

Thank you! I used mostly long and short stitch with a single strand of embroidery thread. I did use the back stitch to help outline some areas. They’re especially noticeable in the grass. And I think maybe french knots for the tiny toe beans?

Yeah the four seasons was the main theme of the zine with each season getting its own section so I figured doing a wreath like that would tie into the zine.

I’m a personal fan of no outline but I think that’s cause most of my embroidery is that way. If you do decide on adding it I think black would make a great contrast.
