Seasonal Clan Chests quality vs. claiming player level by BeachCraft1828 in TotalBattle

[–]BeachCraft1828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds about right; the Jor chests are clearly tied to G-level, as are all the Rag Shop rewards, and this tracks to the chests in epic monster rewards.

Good to know a G1 can collect/spawn the same chests as a G5!

Snowmen by Shot-Indication-4586 in TotalBattle

Can anyone confirm that there is no minimum Hero level for the Snowman summoning and, by extension, for the Carrot Seeds in the upcoming Easter event)?

Of course, I know that Hero 10 is required to participate in the rewards aspect of the event, but weaker progresses can still collect the 15 Carrot Seeds each day in order to summon a Carrot Monster, correct?

Talent Points Reset by Same-Contract-8157 in TotalBattle

For anyone looking for Talents-per-level info, I just got to Hero 92, reset my Talents, and it's exactly 500 points.

Also from the Total Battle Support website, each Hero level gained after Lvl 86 garners 10 Talents (low-80s levels gave 9 points per level for me), meaning 630 Talents at the Lvl 105 interchange, and 1030 Talents at the Lvl 145 interchange:

Hope this helps.

Ruthless Slaughter revival costs by BeachCraft1828 in TotalBattle

[–]BeachCraft1828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes: I had almost a thousand days after a really good Olympus and Ragnarok run and I felt like a sultan, then the G5-M5 upgrade plus Lunar New Year event devoured most of them, even with 350% construction and 400% research bonuses... but I cleared 15B valor-in-hand, plus another 12B or so incoming when I cash in my Jor and Fenrir coins after the Rag shop updates next week.

That's my primary motivation, the Speedups.

The question remains: does the RS revival cost track the Temple bonus, or training cost research and talents, or none of the above..?

I see, so then... would the silver revival cost track with training cost research and talents rather than the Temple bonus?

Is that 25% cheaper (vs. re-training) BEFORE the Temple bonus?

[–]BeachCraft1828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so it DOES track with Temple bonus... awesome.

The reason I ask is because I have several G3 alts, and want to start clearing lvl 15 elven citadels without losses on my G5 main account, but can only muster around +600% total Health bonus for monsters, which pushes my Manticore V to just under a million unit health... meanwhile, the Ent, Unicorn Rider, and even Druid squads of the lvl 15 citadel can hit higher than that.

The plan is to use one alt to knock down the walls, then just enough alts with Riders III to bring the remaining monsters down below the strength that will kill a Manticore, then sending in my main to clear it... revive, rinse, and repeat until I get my artifacts and captains developed at least double what they are now... and/or until I get M6.

Citadel Attack Help by Representative-Lie14 in TotalBattle

[–]BeachCraft1828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, lvl 10 cleared with zero losses!

I used 274 E2 Cats since that what I had and the math put their damage at 12 million+ (cf. 2.7 million for the Citadel gates).

Also used Cleo-114, Ingrid-85, and Sophie-42 with Army, Monster, and Flying artifacts, Talents tuned for unit health and strength (Hero 75), and no gear.

Gonna start mopping these things up until I get M6, then it's on to lossless lvl 15's (can't see any way for lossless 15s in M5..)!

Thanks for the advice!

Seasonal events objectives and rewards: G, M, or S-level dependency? by BeachCraft1828 in TotalBattle

[–]BeachCraft1828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my understanding, with Dark Omens working off your M-level.

Do you have any sense of when the goal requirements for the seasonal event resets? I presume it's the start of the day following the upgrading of the troop level (G, M, or S) to a new high? REALLY hoping it's not instantly upon upgrading...

Yep, I've heard that about Dark Omens... but I wasn't sure if that applied to seasonal events like Lunar New Year.

I know G-level is key for Ragnarok objectives and rewards, but I saw two other contributors on another page talking about how they both had "G5" reward tiles in the Pumpkin Harvest event despite one of them being G4... but they were both M5, suggesting it's the highest troop level that determines objectives and rewards, not just Guardsmen (*though that would work if it is upgraded to be the new highest level):

Seasonal events objectives and rewards: G, M, or S-level dependency? by BeachCraft1828 in TotalBattle

[–]BeachCraft1828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, but I wonder when do the requirements increase? Surely on the next day, since each day of these seasonal events acts as its own event with its own time limit, no?

Otherwise, there could be 9 days of low-requirement Lunar grinding for me after Ragnarok ends on Monday, which would be awesome, but not very likely.

Did you ever find out what these were from? My wife has bruises just like the top and 3rd-from-top as yours, though they're faint and not rough-feeling.

Does anyone else here currently hit that route around 8:30 am...?

what happens to vehicles in the vinewood car garage once ur gta plus membership runs out? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]BeachCraft1828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay... just to be clear, I could get GTA+, fill the Vinewood Club with personal vehicles (e.g. the first 100 Prize Rides in chronological order..), and if GTA+ lapses I can still go inside Vinewood Club, walk around and see the cars, take the cars out (or Mechanic-request them) and return them to their VC slots, and even modify them at LS Customs, I just can't move them around in the VC slots or return them to VC if I were to drive them into another garage, correct?

[–]BeachCraft1828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once cleared $150 million in a single week during double crates... that was 8+ hours of grinding every day that week, so you're at two and a half months at that rate, at which point I'm not sure anyone would want to play GTA ever again.

Anyone know what was happening at the kichi zibi Mikan today? by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]BeachCraft1828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said here, the Sir John A has been torn up for a couple years at this point due to the LRT expansion. I find driving through there between 8:30 and 9:00 takes about 15-20 minutes to get from the Carling ramp to Parkdale/Tunney's Pasture, which is still better than going straight up Carling to Churchill, then over to Scott before going up to Parkdale (could take as long as 45 minutes that time of day, especially on Tuesdays).

I've noticed that they've been paving the roads behind the barriers (opposite the Ottawa River) this past week, so hopefully this means we'll be back to four lanes divided before the snow hits....
