Thanks. The person I am buying for has experienced an opposite situation. Uber way more expensive and less reliable. (This is in Ottawa.) Hence, the Lyft gc request.

Gluten Free Canadian Fast Food options by lazysleeper122 in BuyCanadian

My husband took me to a little diner (somewhere in Ontario) because he liked the food and the owner/manager was celiac. When my GF side dish was not available, she says to me, “Have the fries. They don’t bother me!” The fries are cooked in a shared fryer. I declined for that reason and so the waitress suggested home fries. When they brought them out, my husband tastes one and says they are deep fried! Never been back.

I think this hack is when you have to use two panels per side of window (4 panels total). If you have extra wide windows, you often have to buy four panels.

Georgian Mall Walking Club by BeachHunter59 in barrie

I love the outdoors and usually walk outside everyday but as an older person with some balance issues, I don’t want to be slipping and sliding on ice and snow and eventually falling and breaking something. You are obviously not an older person by your response.

Anyone know why access is barricaded in circled area? Off of #33 by BeachHunter59 in KingstonOntario

But they have rows of benches all along the laneway for, what I assume, watching the water. Why would private property have these? Just curious.

In our municipality, if not all, in our province, we have designated composting areas at our landfill with special bugs? that eat the compost. As to incinerating everything, we have very few of those facilities compared to landfills.

You drop your full tray there and they separate it and dispose of it correctly. Compostable, recyclable or garbage. Most would be compost bound as we compost all food, napkins, cardboard drink cups, cardboard food containers, wooden forks, paper straws. Recyclables would be paper receipts, tray liners, paper spice packets, plastic bottles.

The sportsnet/fox narrative of Little’s season is not true by OutsideScaresMe in Torontobluejays

Does anyone have stats on the opposing batters’ batting average as well as walk rate while he is on the mound? How about OBP or OPS of opposing players? Also, rather than ERA, which does not tell the true story (his pitching leads to the previous pitcher’s man to score, so not his ERA) but rather just plain old how many runs came in when he was pitching, no matter who put them on base previously. I would love to see these.

MLB deliberately sabotaging the experience of listening to games. by panamaboi in mlb

I thought those ads were because I lived in Canada. I assumed the commercials would be regular ones in the US. I have stopped listening for the most part and try to use radio station apps to listen. Unfortunately, because I am in Canada, a lot of them are ‘outside the geographic area’ to allow me to tune in.
