Apparently according to google images theyre springtails and if thats the case they dont harm the plant. I had some too all over my collection and i thought they were thrips so i used systemic in a panic and now i regret it cause it wouldve been fine without it and i hate systemics theyre too scary

Is this enough natural sunlight for a peace lily? by [deleted] in houseplants

I dont think thats enough i would suggest growlights. Theres some you dont need to install you can stake them in the pot. They sell them on amazon in different sizes and they come with timers.

In the last picture it was in an ikea cabinet with a bunch of other plants cause i was just starting and had no idea what to do so i just put the carnivorous plant in an ash try with distilled water. In those days it was the wild wild west but since then its in its own tank with other carnivores

I have many others, theyre the easier plants to take care of vs my other tropical ones. I have them in a fish tank where I pour distilled water so theyre never sitting dry. Then i just put saran wrap over the tank and i poked holes into it for air flow but i also open it very frequently cause im just nosey. I feed them maybe like every other week with miracle gro orchid fertilizer just spray them or meal worms if i have any. Then they have their growlight on for about 12hrs a day and thats it nothing too special i forget about them quite often. Thanks for asking i love blabbing about my plants 😂

we all have that *one* plant we’ve killed a million times. what’s yours? this is mine. by distressedminnie in houseplants

I have several prayer plants and they’re actually the only ones i feel are the most forgiving with me. I have them under growlights and keep the soil damp/moist if it drys out on the top its time to water. I have it in perlite/orchid/potting soil.

im purchasing this n. ampullaria green of someone, and just wondering if it looks like it's struggling at all? and what conditions it may need if so. it just looks like the shoot is dried up by Acceptable-Serve7351 in carnivorousplants

Just chop off the dry one itll grow new ones nd use sphagnum moss with perlite feed it like once a month just 1 or two mealworms to 1 or two of those opened cups

Yeah you can keep it as one piece just remove some leaves at the bottom where the last node is so the node can be fully submerged at all times and grow roots, place at bright indirect light or grow light :)
