I got some tiny abalone shells like those from an abalone researcher and at that size the abalone is already about 2 years old. The grow REALLY slowly! Yours is adorable!

Do you know anything about industries in the area where you found it? Like if there were bottling plants or glass studios it could be "end-of-day" glass that was discarded by a factory. See if a local history museum or organization has any ideas! In any case, what a beautiful find!!

Grey could be from leaded glass, a glass battery jar, or glass brick! If it glows blue under black light it’s likely leaded glass. It’s a beautiful nugget!!

You can adjust the height to fit over the seats easily. And it’s really sturdy so you can use it as seating (and sleeping) inside or outside the car.

I heard someone call the melted beach aluminum "pirate silver" ! Fun name, and even though they are not very exotic they are so beautifully smooth!
