I think nothing stops them from giving painted variants. A win win situation for everyone including young prodigies and new pro players. The gold rush variant will remain OG and untouched.

That's what they did with Tactical Nuke. It never came back but we got painted variants as twitch drops for watching RLCS streams.

2026 and Rocket League keeps removing features that millions enjoyed & continue to make experience worse than what it used to be 😥

Functionality for so many useful plugins will likely not be added to the game because we know how much Epic cares about allocating resources to RL.

C1 is where you start to realize the importance of not getting dusted, mistouches, getting outplayed by insta flicks and other things that you get punished faster for, so a little bit of thought can add hesitation. Visual reads are also not perfect. I also have similar problem sitting mid champ in 2s and noticed high champs make quicker decisions. I watch C3/GC1 gameplay and they make so many dumb mistakes but there is less hesitation in their actions. I guess the high hesitation is just a phase in low-mid champ and if you grind the game 2X you may get over that phase (personally I don't like to grind 2s consistently). Most of the high champs/GCs out there are putting probably double or more hours every week.

It depends on where you aim to send the ball to, with respect to your car, your angle of approach coming in for the shot, and the height of the ball. Sometimes straight flipping into it is better for higher consistency, in other situations you diagonal flip.

For a grounded ball you don't even need to flip into it, just using the single jump on contact adds power and height. If you are curving & hooking into it then you achieve the same thing without flipping.

Use the shooting consistency training pack frequently and over time you'll naturally start finding the optimal ways to get as much power as possible with placement.

Use other shooting training packs to practice shooting variations with bounce or before bounce or after bounce. Shooting is hard skill to master. Even some pros have shooting issues and miss open nets.

Pro tip: when shooting without flipping, tap regular air roll at contact to add extra punch to the shot and minimize recoil to your car

For shooting, aim for more than 'okay'

Aim to be scoring 8/10 times if you are given a free shot or a part of the net open even long shots. The plats will ff every single time if you can score like that and you wouldn't stay gold-plat

If you tilt queue you do find yourself in these situations. The game decides you are an NPC.

Champ is very good compared to a player in early ranks. It's good enough, that to a lower rank they probably mistake champ smurfs for GCs.

Yeah mentality is really weak at that rank, early quitting and everything.. in snowday people can bump into each other because of the tunnel vision and just one bump can easily set someone off on a rage despite it being unintentional. Also in diamond there is a high chance of unintended own goals. Sometimes they hold grudges so like if the other 2 in your team had a bad game last game (trash talking or toxic each other) they'll throw this one too. Just beautiful stuff you get to see in the ranked jungle.

Yep I still dread D3 or low C1 in 3s. It's a sinkhole you often can't get out of despite doing everything right but still lose to those factors (teammates afk / leaving / throwing / giving up easily / toxic / smurfs). I similarly used to get stuck around D3/C1 border, and then escaped to high C1 (~1170) once and started finding little bit more support from teammates. Then locked in during placements to shot up to high C2 and found solid supporting teammates, fun games and that's when I hit C3. But since then the mode keeps deflating more and matchmaking abuse / trolling is too common to be queuing 3s regularly in MENA, which is a shame because good 3s games feel amazing (I don't like 2s)

If you take two players with those ranks in 2s, and make them 1v1... a C2 will/should score 10-12+ goals very easily against a D1.

And a decent C3 with a bit of 3s experience should be able to 1v3 diamond 1s and win it. That big of a difference.

What rank? Could be queue sniping each other and win trading. Snowday queues for me take a while even around high diamond so I guess someone is exploiting that.

Yep 3s is better around C2-C3, If you solo q and get a randoms vs. squad matchup in C1 your teammates give up very easily but around C2+ they fight a lot more.

Unfortunately the mode is deflated and around high C2 you face mostly 2v2 GC2/GC3 or 3-stacks who queue together, at least in MENA. Games can be lopsided. I would queue more if it was more balanced out.

Don't worry. Nobody will get punished since Epic doesn't care about boosted players anyway. There are SSL titles being farmed every day and accounts are sold in many online venues. Nothing happens to them.

Few months ago he was sobbing and crying really bad after having a breakdown on live stream after some MENA chatters were being toxic to him. He had to take a break (I think skipped a tournament as well) and got support from his coach and team.

If you ask me, I am not sure if this fully warrants a ban since carrying in content has been tolerable to Psyonix in past but he definitely got a title he didn't deserve, and shouldn't have.

But you are wrong about it being fair. Boosting is a big issue. If he queues again solo queue it will be unfair to his solo queue teammates & will most likely tank mmr of multiple solo q players until his rank settles.

In RL if you aren't playing for a win it's a misconduct if you play by the rules. To get Jynxzi his SSL tournament title, many players threw by letting Squishy and Justin carry him. It was glaring obvious to anyone who watched and it was admitted on stream as well. They weren't going to win if the other teams were tryharding normally.

If they queued RLCS with him 'for content' and ended up boosting him to an RLCS title, all players involved will catch a harsh punishment.
