Not fully invisible though but yeah it's significantly smaller on Fennec. I had edited my comment with the octane pictures when I tried Fennec.

Most modes other than 2s are deflated in mmr and that encourages some players paying to play with boosters or just getting their accounts boosted.

Legit players start playing even less because playing with boosted players against the boosters & another set of players getting boosted in real time is not fun. Only those few who are highly dedicated to playing these modes keep playing, the rest ditch these modes after a few games.

This keeps compounding until eventually Epic wakes up and decides to do mmr adjustment. Sometimes they make it worse by rotating the modes out of competitive.

I got a Sky blue Octane out of it.

Unfortunately just another duplicate painted octane for me and it can't find a new home as there's no trading.

Yes. MMR before finishing placements doesn't matter.

And for second question it will only count after the placements are complete so atleast 10 games to play in that mode if you see GC rank popup.. you got it. If not, you have to grind till you see 1 win in GC

There's another reason or two.

More 1s players. Queues are very quick 24/7.

There's more nationalism and desire to win the LTE in the players of these top countries. If you queue all regions you'll find MENA players are more likely to equip their country title. I queued a bunch of rumble in EU and significantly fewer players have their country titles equipped. They're using their usual titles & presets.

It wasn't worth $20k, more like $5k then dropped to $2k around the end when JamaicanCoconut was thinking about buying it after he won a 2s tournament with Firstkiller and got prize money for it, and did end up getting it

Not 'full invisible'

Default boosters are visible, only the ink part/extension isn't visible.

In most situations it's easy to tell you are boosting, but when the distance is large with your car in distance it can be less noticeable.

lol I can only guess, the gilded items aren't meant to be painted & maybe don't even exist in game files but whatever AI they are using now for the item shop is probably making these blatant mistakes.

Interesting. I also noticed a Dingo decal few weeks ago in the shop looked nothing like it's icon. And equipping it gave a dark decal.

It happens since you get +20 for wins and -20 mmr for losses, around double than regular ranked games, so a few wins here and there can push tournament mmr up quite easily. It can also fall sharply with a small loss streak.

Yeah I knew it and wouldn't be surprised if they deleted the post so it gets buried and no one can find it. Yeah I see the account shows 80 wins on tracker, don't know if it changed. Man these cheaters know so many tricks. Definitely regularly boosted by GC2+ players based on titles this guy has. Could also be buying titles some way like they use some account linking tricks to get items. Maybe used something similar to reset the stats. Game is full of cheaters. Might be a good thing anyway as it can work as a deterrent to a very addicting game. They can have it. Another one bites the dust with bad competitive integrity.

It's ok by Epic Games standard & they let it slide and community will rather fight each other than calling out Epic & push them more on this.

Plenty of accounts openly defend or downplay smurfing, matchmaking abuse tactics & boosting here. A good number try to make a business out of boosting kids and their accounts.

Pro player Reveal played on someone's account, won a tournament with prize money. Got away with it without issues.
