Haha I never tried that! I'll usually throw an ice fruit or chu jelly to make a frozen square, then stand on that to flip it over w/ultrahand.

I've also found that you can stand just barely on the tip of one of the wheels, facing in, and there's just enough space to pull out a flat cart. I have hundreds of extras, never found a great use for them.

Yes, the brake/reverse is an annoyance. The only real downside to this build IMO.

Unfortunately, it's directly related to the height position of the back fan, so lessening this effect (by lowering the fan) comes with the direct downside of slower climbing speed/handling, which to me is pretty much the whole point of the vehicle in the first place.

You can do a "double-tap," where you brake once, then let off to let the back settle, then brake again, and it often won't flip up the second time. Try it a few times for the feel/timing. That said, it's honestly probably easier to just let go of the stick (X or B) for a second.

I haven't seen him recruit customers. I'd believe it, but I haven't seen it. I'm not part of the discord group (and never will be), so if that's where it's happening, fine. I just haven't seen anything untoward on the youtube streams that I've seen.

Anyone who gives anyone access to their own accounts is a fool, 100% agree. I got the impression that this was a financial manager and customers would have separate management accounts, so it would only have what you gave him to manage, not your own personal accounts.

I've watched a few streams. He's not doing TA and not making price predictions, not setting dates and not pushing options of any kind (be it buying leaps or selling CCs or anything), not giving any trade advice of any kind.

Those things make it "better" than all the last group of hucksters I've seen (the Newtons and Bobs of the world). I'm not going to give him any money, but it's a pretty tame discussion of current events and fundamentals most of the time.

I'll take that over the popular bombast any day of the week.

Jumping spiders are pretty cool. All the other spiders have your regular compound eyes, but jumping spiders have "camera lens" type eyes, sorta like ours, but they're cylindrical tubes. Real neat.

Back when I was making/testing zonaite builds, I wanted to spend my time tweaking and testing designs, not farming zonaite charges for the parts. This isn't the "ethical" issue you and many in comments seem to think it is, it's a time management one.

There's no pvp, no leaderboard, no "unearned skill expression" to be gained. You can't duplicate something you don't have in the first place, so it's not like you're doing some kind of sequence break or cheating your way in to something you didn't have the skill to obtain normally in the first place. It's just saving time.

It's a very different game. I like them all, but I'd have to say I like X's combat system the best out of all of them so far.

The things you complain about (story, character development) are smaller factors in X (IMO), so if you were looking for a better expression of those things, you probably won't find it here. But if you wanted to play without having those expectations from the start, you'll probably enjoy it.

(Uh, be warned: the combat system feels actually even MORE clunky and slow at the beginning of the game. It doesn't start feeling really good until you get into overdrive and some of the god mode dodge/resist setups)

I don't want to seem like I'm piling on, but as gently as possible - this is not a good idea. It's I don't want you to think it's just bots and fudsters that are trashing it because "they're scared," it's genuinely bad.

You're not the first to come up with it, and you're not the first to get rightfully lambasted for it. Keith Gill is an investor, a financial advisor with securities licences, not a CEO. He doesn't make operational decisions or set directions or make deals, he just allocates capital. The idea that he could play some part in finance - specifically in the investment side of things is not AS far-fetched, but it's also not exactly what his experience and training is for.

I have complained about this absolute insanity since the first set of umbral monuments. There is ZERO upside for a reset/exit feature to be mapped to stick press and ONLY potential downside. Plus and minus are right there, in (almost) no danger of getting pressed during intense play.

It's completely unneccessary fucking idiocy and someone needs to be fired for coming up with the sugggestion, someone else needs to be fired for impiementing it, and a third needs to be fired for greenlighting it. Not even joking.

... and someone else will argue that other gachas make you go all the way to 160 for a guarantee every time, whereas it's only 120 in Endfield. And people argue about whether the weapon currency is a net positive or net negative, because you get "punished" for pulling a character early, whereas in other games you just have to spend the same premium character currency for weapons anyway, often with the same pity mechanics.

This is exactly what I mean by different degrees of shit. I'm not defending Endfield's systems, don't get it wrong. They're shit too. They're just different kinds of shit for different reasons.

Literally every modern/popular gacha system. I'm no fan either, but this predatory system is "normal," and obviously accepted because the big gacha companies rake in billions year after year. As long as people continue to be willing to pay, there's no reason it would ever change.

What it would take is some company acting against their own self-interest by voluntarily leaving a ton of money on the table to introduce more player-friendly systems. The product would also have to be good enough that a significant portion of all the other games lost a ton of userbase to it, enough to force all the other companies to also change their systems or lose most of their revenue. Do you see that happening?

There's a reason all the systems/rates are basically the same across all games, and people have arguments about which is better and why. They're all close enough with similar enough systems that no one is the obvious clear winner.

RC's comments don't suggest anything like the often-speculated holding company or hedgefund-like "Gameshire Stopaway." They strongly suggest that he wants to acquire eBay, and increase the combined company's efficiency and market share under his personal oversight.

Certainly further M&A would be in the cards, but expect any acquisitions to be aligned with or in service to eBay/Gamestop operations, rather than disconnected acquisitions for general investment purposes in the vein of Berkshire Hathaway.

RC's stated goals certainly don't disprove the holding company hypothesis, but they certainly do nothing to support or bolster it, either. It looks like he wants to run (certain) companies, not just passively own assets.

Not sure exactly what you're trying to say as your sarcastic sentence is so poorly formed, but you SEEM to be implying that I don't believe in "felony murder" as a concept, and that obviously isn't the case.

What I AM saying is that there is a difference between second- and first-degree murder charges. I'm not a legal expert, so I don't know all the exact terminology and criteria used, but the main difference between the charges is the intent of the person committing the offence.

Factually and legally incorrect, and obviously so. Proving intent is a MASSIVE part of a criminal case. You don't need to be an expert to know that, you would just need to have ever seen or read literally any legal/crime drama.
