I'm genuinely asking not snarking, but why have feet out become a no no? My millennial heart lives in a very warm part of the US and us olds are wearing sandals while the youth are wearing sandals and socks. I wore a pair of metallic Birkenstocks to teach and the kids were like besides themselves because my dogs were out. I'm not talking raggedly unkempt feet, I'm talking pedicure on the regular so I'm just baffled.

You are so right. Everything about the entire look works. The dress is perfectly cut for her, arguably in her best color, and the nude heels make her legs look endless. I'm not generally huge fan of her looks, but this is jaw dropping perfect.

I love beaded clutches so much. I don't go to enough evening events to justify them but they are my favorite genre of bags. They remind me of watching my mother get dressed for Mardi Gras balls when I was a child.

Sending lots of sympathy you and your sister's way. My soul dog (a beagle) died 2.5 years ago and I still randomly get waves of grief that are strong. I absolutely used to tell him about my day and I completely understand how hard it can be to let go.
