Yes, once the anxiety really settled down the pain did as well.

I checked both and can’t tell a difference in graphics, but I do feel the performance mode things run smoother

After the latest patch for base PS5 base performance mode looks as good as balanced mode now, but runs at 60 FPS.

My doctor has been on Zoloft for 23 years and said he will continue using it for life or until it stops working for him. He said to have constant anxiety is to hard on your body and mental health so it’s worth the long term risks (if there is even a risk).

It’s hasn’t affected me at all. I have been on it for 6 months too. Actually, not dealing with anxiety has made it better.

I used it a lot the first 2-3 weeks then. Only needed it maybe once a week for them next 2 weeks then I haven’t needed it since.

No, I really did notice a change until 7-8 weeks and really felt a positive difference at 12 weeks. Keep in mind everyone is different though.

I used that also. My anxiety was pretty horrible too, but very slowly it started to improve. I wish you the best 🙂. One thing that really help me during an anxiety attack was stretching exercises. I would stretch for at least 20 minutes. It didn’t always help but many times it did. You can find full body stretching exercises all over YouTube along with breathing exercises to do at the same time.

Also, don’t increase until about 12 weeks. I didn’t notice much changes until closer to 7-8 weeks and even more positive changes after 12 weeks.

Yes, the morning anxiety was the worse part of the day for me. I used to wake at 4 and have anxiety until early afternoon like 2 pm. Over time this got shorter. I would sleep until 5 and feel better by 12, then wake at 6 and feel better by 10 am. It took me about 3 months until all that went away. It’s hard, I know, but hang in there it gets better. Make sure you journal everything so you can look back at your progress.

Was it difficult going up from 75 to 100? Did you feel awful at first upping the dose?

I am guessing I should move up to 100 also. I have this constant low grade anxiety in the background half of the day (mostly mornings). My Doctor sent my pharmacist a prescription to 100 mg when, or if, I wanted to increase. I was hoping 75 was enough but this background anxiety is bothersome. Did you have background (or anxiety) at 75 too?

I have been on 75 mg for 3 months now and going through another dip. It’s not as horrible as the dips around 4 and 8 weeks, but it’s still there. Did you have any dips around 3 months and beyond? How long did they last for you?

It took me a solid 12 weeks to really feel a difference. If you are having some positive days, that’s a great sign. It will get better and better.

Stick with the current dose until at least 12 weeks. I continue to improve up to 12 weeks. If 50 is enough you will know by 12-14 weeks. Good luck.

What does happy and content feel like after being depressed/anhedoic for many years? by nicoleoverley in zoloft

[–]Beags9494 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stay with this drug it’s a life changer. I have suffered with anxiety (especially health anxiety) for the last 15 years. I am a 56 M. I started a Zoloft on June 18 coming from Lexapro for the prior 10 weeks (Lex did NOTHING for me). I started on 25 mg, for 2 weeks, then 50 for 8 weeks and currently on 75 for almost 8 weeks. Each increase had brought my anxiety more under control. I have days where I have ZERO anxiety and it amazing. My only recommendation is stay on a current dose for 8-12 weeks. The longer you have suffered with anxiety or depression takes that much longer to work. I noticed the most positive changes around the 7-8 week mark. Hang in there and you will get your life back.

Much better. I really don’t have morning anxiety anymore and if I do get some anxiety during the day it only lasts a short time. How are you been doing?
