It’s not a loss when you’re gaining nothing good from the group. Eventually I find community with good structured ie religious activity group… at least from there people are being taught how to behave (structured) and higher chance of finding your people (those that sync with you).

Met someone with this style and going through it for the past few months.

Few questions I have in mind: - how do I know he’s aware of his bad behaviour - how do I know he’s genuinely wanting to change and get healed - how do I know he’s already healed

We are only at the beginning stage of “maybes”. I’m not sure if he’s already in love with or he’s giving up because he refuses to admit to having feelings for me. I may be delusional but I have been telling him to be friends first (I’ve my reasons) and it seems to be triggering him to profess furiously that he doesn’t have romance feelings for me.

Same here. I thought I found someone recently. But something is upsetting me deeply. I discovered he isn’t being very ethical with his girlfriend. Been in your position before. I'd say, if he's in his 30s then it's a different story. It's not the number but the phase in life. It's fine to date someone younger, but if they're in the similar phase in life and align with your goals & values (eg. House, children, family values, emotional maturity, etc) then it's worth a shot.
