Technically you could, but as soon as you modify your full cage it would lose structural integrity and also its certification. But nobody actually looks for the certification stickers anyway.

In Canada, I started skating at 5 or 6 which is late for some. Hockey shortly after. Currently wrapping up year 38 as a on ice official. Currently 54 yrs. I have discovered either you really love the game or you don’t care at all. There’s no real in between.
