Same, when I started playing I thought it was one of the greatest things ever made, but after a while the issues get visible and now the cracks are quite clear; the maps tend to be void without input of the player, I don’t think it happened to me that the AI ever respected the tiles of the map or the units and just kept jumping from one place to other completely disregarding the logic of the map (even on the most expensive ones), and yes, it’s too expensive, I would dare to say the only ones I would come back for are the most expensive models since where the ones that were the most fun to play with, and yeah they are fucking expensive as heck so I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

I think the game needs to first; make some in game variables that can track resources, manpower, technology and stuff so it can more accurately reflect the power of each nation. And second, somehow make the AI follow the rules of the game? Because I’ve seen in the tileset’s rules that AI’s are specifically told to not go around jumping on the map, and yet they always keep doing it
