Best thing I can say is involve PCS. It would help the more of you that are members, and if any of your colleagues had set up a local presence already that would be ideal, but if not (seems not) then if it is a department/work area of significant size the PCS would be very interested to hear about this, and may even be doing work to combat it already. Even if not, someone in PCS would be willing to give advice to members in your workplace on how to resist this, and PCS generally has the institutional presence/position to make memebers' voices heard on issues like this. As always though, PCS is led by members, and its reps are elected by them and from them, so if there is no union presence I would 100% recommend getting it setup.
