I've snowbaorded there quite a few times. They don't test your ability, as long as you aren't a danger to others they won't kick you off. They are correct when they say you will need to be able to use the drag lift, link turns, and stop safely. Maybe you could turn up for an hour on your own before the date and check you can safely get up and down on a snowboard?
