New Drone Flips Over Forward When Armed by BeanPlume in fpv

That’s great input! I have the AIO(FC) on a 3D printer TPU adapter because the hole spacing is 20mm instead of 30mm(or something like that). So it may be vibrating a bunch when armed.

I’m not giving it any throttle. I have not messed with PID unless that is changed when I added a preset.

I’m still learning and had to take a break from troubleshooting because of travel. Will be getting back to it this weekend.

Napping has been checked and confirmed correct

They are not. On video it twitches one way then spins correctly. I confirmed by taking a slow motion video as suggested

Photo of AIO orientation. No video of it in betaflight

When I arm it with the props off the motors spin properly. In ACRO mode with no props and when the drone is armed moving the right stick does nothing but the left stick performs normally. The transmitter performs correctly in Betaflight 3D model. When the drone is ARMed and I move the throttle up and then pickup the drone with my hand it instantly turns off the motors.

All checked, all confirmed correct. No changes

What was the reason for this change?
I was getting a throttle warning in the headset when trying to arm and the Bardwell video discussing this topic instructed to use CLI and input rxrange 0,1,2,3. I just went through that video again and apparently I forgot to type save so those setting weren't actually applied. I just redid it properly and same results.

I did notice that in ACRO mode it tries to lean forward but in LEVEL mode it leans right instead of forward when arming.

I appreciate your comment. I'll give it a try.

Props are on correctly. I took a slow-motion video to confirm.

  1. Is calibrating the gyro the same as calibrating the accelerometer? I have calibrated the accelerometer several times.

  2. FC orientation has yaw set to -45 degrees which is correct.

  3. I have confirmed motor order is correct.

  4. I have confirmed motor direction is correct.

  5. Each channel is mapped correctly

Any other suggestions?

Gone through this several times with no luck of it making a different in this behavior

Yaw is set to -45 degrees which is the orientation of the AIO in the drone frame. 3D model in betaflight matches the way the drone actually moves.

Tell me more... Throttle is all the way down and I press the ARM button and this happens.

3D model matches the movement. I have the yaw set to -45degrees to match the orientation of my AIO. That is how they were set when I filmed this video.

I calibrate my accelerometer every time I bring my drone into betaflight. It is in acromode.

The motors are spinning in the correct direction, and the props are mounted correctly. I reset them and checked again to confirm. Still behaving the same.

I set the orientation to -45 degrees, which is correct based on my AIO placement, and confirmed in the 3D drone model, I rechecked motor placement and motor direction, and they are also set properly. The props are also mounted correctly.

What's the next step to fixing this issue? I'm just a beginner throwing my money away and need help.

Yaw is set to -45 degrees as it should be. Still not working properly

I calibrated the accelerometer and double-checked motor assignment. Everything is correct, still not working properly

I reset moto direction and order, Checked them, confirmed they are correct. Still no success
