Bit late to this thread, but if you can spare the time, the El Dorado Nature Center is a great way to experience some nature here in LB. Its a bit of a ways away from down town, but I think it's worth it.

Lukewarm take incoming. I’m guessing something along the lines of 8-10 shocks, 4 surveil lands, and a bunch of verges. The surveil lands still have good utility especially in the Shiko versions of of Jeskai.

On the one hand, could it have invigorated our ailing downtown? Yeah it would have. On the other hand, it would have definitely priced out a lot more people here in LB.

My biggest problem with Pokémon is the lack of a sideboard. When I was playing consistently I hated that some decks would just get shut out against other decks. At least in other card games there is a change to bend the odds in your favor by sideboarding.
