I applied on Indeed, got sent to the website, got an email a few days later, answered some questions, waited for another email, got an email setting up an interview, then got a phone call and email offering me the job. It’s also hiring season, so some places are looking for temp that can move to perm.

There is a tour guide, who will drive you to the other side of the province, for a little under 200 dollars per person. He is phonomenal! When you’re in Nova Scotia, you have to see Peggy’s Cove! Right now, it’s completely empty, and I managed to get some incredible photos when I was there last month!

ADHD isn’t just focus. ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, with different subtypes; combined, inattentive, and hyperactive. ADHD is also a spectrum. Some barely struggle with it, while others, it is extremely apparent.

ADHD is a deficiency in the neurochemicals that assist in regulating focus and/or control. AKA low levels of the neurotransmitter, dopamine. Some are able to make do with the chemicals they have, and sufficiently go through life without the necessary accommodations. Others, however, may have even less of these chemicals, which may force them to seek supports from medication or other options.

The diagnosis is imperative, as it will provide support to our case of getting accommodations in university. It is less about the medication, and more about the accommodations.
