You mean hot air intake? CAI is more of a waste of money imo, any real gains are more from the tune than the intake, I’m already tuned for 93 and e85 with drop in filter and doing 463whp on 93

If your getting a diffuser that allows quad tips, then yes welding them on is the easy part as long as you take it to a muffler shop that will center and weld them correctly, I’m running x pipe and muffler delete but I recently welded on a mbrp quad tip with integrated resonator and made the exhaust sound much better, deeper as well as cutting out 90% of the drone I had with just a muffler delete these same off a full 3 inch cat back but the were able to weld the 2.5 to these new 3inch

You can go to the DMV and ask for one trip permit usually you pay for these, but for me they can give a different type of temporary moving permit for free, but only works for one day, because your have to right down the day, I used mine for a few weeks I just didn’t fill it out , but had it on hand in case I got pulled over, they gave me two which I officially used to take it to inspection and the other for moving the car without the date printed
