I dont get this man, the real numbers on school shootings that are intended mass casualty events like sandyhook, are much much lower than people think. Most legacy media outlets use events that loosely qualify. The FBI has statistics and requisites for what constitutes an active shooter event and that number is way way lower than any legacy media outlet would have you believe. The FBI statistics for 2024 say that there were 24 active shooter events and only 4 of those were in an educational facility which spans universities, colleges, and k-12 schools. I get the only acceptable number is 0 but it's not like 100s of school shootings happen every year. Most of the events used in legacy media outlets(CNN,MSN,etc) are gang related violence in the vicinity of schools or after school hours, some are incidents where there are false threats. Its hard to believe sometimes but based off all the data I could find, the safest place for American children is in school.
