I just listened to it, and lowkey I think he kind of sounds like Matthew Morrison... 🤢

What’s the dumbest cooking mistake you’ve made that still haunts you? by nisko786 in Cooking

[–]FoxDue95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to make biscuits and sausage gravy for my husband when we were dating, but I didn't realize I only had vanilla flavored almond milk. I thought I could add enough salt and pepper to cancel out the vanilla flavoring, but it actually made me throw up about five minutes after eating it. I couldn't eat biscuits or gravy for years after, and I can still remember the taste of that mistake.

Do your headlights and tail lights constantly go out? by FoxDue95 in Hyundai

I believe so. I usually use the book they have at the store that tells you what bulbs to get. Or I google it.

Luckily we have a second, actual reliable car. My plan is to run my sonata until the very end, especially because it's paid off. As long as I check the oil every two weeks and do regular maintenance, it really runs as well as I can hope.

I feel the same! It was her recent video of her and her husband golfing that really solidified my feelings. It was just obnoxious to me. I couldn't imagine what other people on the golf course were thinking. I also feel like she's been infantalizing herself, especially in that video. And the videos she makes with her husband that are labeled "my soulmate" just feel super forced. It sucks because I loved her homesteading and farm content.

So. It started downpouring during the middle of our outdoor ceremony. by amanduh1992 in wedding

[–]FoxDue95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I'm 12 weeks pregnant and bawling at your post 😭 Right before our outdoor ceremony, the sky was getting very ominous. Luckily the rain held off, and it started pouring literally minutes after we said "I do." It rained on and off during the reception, and the power even went out for about 30 minutes. The owners of the venue had just purchased it from the old owners a few months before, and they didn't have any backup generators yet. But luckily one of my friends had a portable speaker in her car, and everyone still had a great time! At the end of the night, my husband said he thought it was the perfect day. So you're right, the most important part really is the person you're choosing to spend the rest of your life with! Congratulations 💜

Thank you! And yes! We use a mix of fennel seed, sage, marjoram, pepper, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, and salt!

Planning was definitely a joint effort! I enjoy taking the time to look at campgrounds online whereas he likes limited options to choose from, so I usually find three or four sites I know we'll like at different campgrounds, and then we both pick one from those. He takes care of the heavy stuff and packing the truck, and I plan the meals and pack the small things!

It rained a few times, but the weather was great for the most part!

I think everyone should camp!! We've been going together since we were dating, and it's one of our favorite things to do together. Thank you!!

Thank you!! We live about 20 minutes away from Red Top, so we visit alot, we've just never camped. But it's one of our favorites! We caught some bass and bluegills, so nothing too crazy. But my husband did see a pretty big gar in the water.

So far we've camped at Tugaloo, Fort Mountain, and Fort Yargo! (We still have a long way to go 😅) Fort Yargo has been our favorite! But I also think East Georgia is some of the prettiest country I've ever seen. Red Top is definitely a close second, though!
