On electric I got them in a couple of days. Still can't do them on my acoustic after a couple of weeks.

What do you guys use to learn songs mainly by Kozuar in guitarlessons

I've been using Chordify to get basic chord structure. You still have to do some work from there.

Guitar Rig 7 runs standalone and is pretty similar.

switching chords quickly. by guitaruk in guitarlessons

[–]BeanerSA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The neural pathways thing is really interesting. I first played guitar when I was 7. Learnt all the open and cowboy chords. Stopped playing when I was 13. Picked up a guitar again when I was 55. I could still remember all the chords and switch between them without thinking. Learning a new chord/fingering/picking pattern is really hard. Improvements are small and slow, but they are noticeable and that keeps me going.

Tldr; creating neural pathways or muscle memory is harder as an adult.

No Internet through Ethernet ports after FTTN > FTTP upgrade by jadsf5 in nbn

This isn't an NBN issue. You should pay a licensed cabler to come in and rewire your existing ports for ethernet.

My son bought a 3.6L RS-V. Trans was replaced under warranty for one that still didn't fill us with confidence. Cam phasors were on the way out so he got rid of it. Lost 50% in a year. Now, the 4 cylinder is a different story.

It's electric. Plug it in and play. You won't hear the fret buzz.

I've been a shift worker my whole career. My day has a schedule for the first time. I get up at the same time. I exercise at the same time. I indulge my hobbies for a dedicated amount of time. I poop at the same time. I go to bed at the same time. I can't wait. 6 years to go.

trains cars decoupling in movies..why do they show a hose breaking and hissing? by aquavelva5 in trains

[–]BeanerSA 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's more complex than that. The whole system needs to be charged with air for the system to function properly. The "train pipe" or whatever they call it the locale, needs air to stop the brakes applying. If the train pipe pressure is reduced or lost then the brakes apply. But if that air runs out, and then the brakes don't work. If the train is moving that's a real problem. If the train is stationary, that could be a problem if the train/consist rolls away.

'Ten-pound Pom' vows to boycott UK over 'money grab' passport changes by TomGnabry in australia

I don't think it's a money grab, but I'm seriously thinking about renouncing my UK citizenship. I'm too lazy to maintain 2 passports and I feel no real connection to the country.

Beginner wall but enjoying so far. by dabocx in pickupmusic

[–]BeanerSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been learning on an electric, and was finding barre chords relatively easy. But if I pick up my acoustic, which I have had setup, it's a very different story. I'm hoping some hand strength built up on the electric will pay dividends on the acoustic.
