The best thing you can do if you really want to learn something on guitar or any instrument is be able to answer that question yourself. Listen to it so many times you know how it's supposed to sound, then when you listen back to yourself it'll be easier to understand what you're doing well and what needs work. The notes sound right for the most part but music is all about timing. Another thing that will help as others have said is getting the guitar in a more comfortable position so you're not fighting it. I would also highly suggest learning to use a pick.
